VP Pence, Secretary Ross, and Senator Capito Celebrate the Revival of Jobs in Appalachia
WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, WV -- January 31st, 2018 -- Worldwide Equipment (WE) is honored to welcome The Vice President Mike Pence, Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross, Senator Shelley Moore Capito, Representative Evan Jenkins, and Representative David McKinley as guests at the White Sulphur Springs, WV location. Thanks to the direction of the President and Vice President, and the tireless work of the GOP majority in the House and Senate, Worldwide Equipment is facing a strong year ahead.
Worldwide Equipment, and the Appalachian-region as a whole, have gone through a challenging past eight years. Through Obama’s War on Coal and their radical environmental allies, the appalachian region lost over 45,000 jobs over the past eight years.
The Trump Administration has brought back hope to Appalachia by promoting pro-business policies through cutting regulations, taxes, and supporting businesses like WE. Due to the passage of recent tax legislation in Congress, Worldwide Equipment has been enabled to take some ambitious steps to grow their business.
Terry Dotson, CEO of Worldwide Equipment, remarked, “During the Obama War on Coal, WE have never laid off a person and have found a way to care for all of our people, in spite of economic challenges over the last eight years.”
As a result of new economic policies and the tax cut, Worldwide Equipment is proud to announce that they have been able to initiate needed renovations to several locations, broken ground on a new facility in South Carolina, and provided bonuses to all 1100+ employees. Worldwide Equipment is also delving into new potential opportunities involving the purchase of an additional full-line truck dealership, expansion into new areas of South Carolina, and the purchase of their first automotive dealership.
WE has great appreciation to the Trump Administration for their effort to put American companies first and look forward to many years of prosperity to come.
